Four years in the case of AstraZeneca. Yet, these people and companies are immune from the term "anti-vax", despite various statements made. What we have learned this year, is that a new type of vaccine (mRNA) can go under trials for just two months and be deemed 'safe and effective'. Which should make one question why vaccine manufacturers bothered with prior animal trials and longer human trial periods in the past. The scientific goal posts have dramatically changed in 2020.

No animal trials are required, and only two months of human trials are required to decide whether a new type of vaccine is safe and effective. I didn't shift the goal posts. The pharmaceutical companies just did. "youtube, facebook, and twitter" don't have a say in the matter.

  6. ​ @EvilOmelette  I'm not sure what you are talking about. "Goalposts" refers to the 2 months period to evaluate safety and effectiveness of a new mRNA vaccine experiment vs at least a year for other vaccines to get evaluated.
