Jason Harris It comes down to personal preference (billions of people wearing face masks every day...the logistics and waste!). I do wear face masks when dealing with designated patients whom have tested positive for a number of things. The hospital I work at does not require everyone to wear masks all of the time. If I have symptoms, I will wear a mask in the company of others, and I certainly won't work at the hospital.

@lemurianchick Some masks surely are. Here in Australia, we typically discard what could easily be 'tons of them' throughout the year via our hospitals alone.

@lemurianchick Yeah, gowns are a massive part of the waste. I went vegan years back (and did not eat junky foods). A couple of months in and my facial skin suddenly went grey with a cracked lake bed look. I freaked out. I will never go vegan again.
