@CrankyHermit In many ways, jokes are guard for disrespectful careless actions. All non-human animals used in our so called jokes are directly being harmed due to our disrespect by not extending equal consideration to their livelihood. For example, an act of ridicule by using dogs to demean the actions of man—Only reaffirms to another primitive homosapien primates are superior. Thereby, continuing the harm towards innocent dogs as population at kill sites are increasing every year.

One’s argument is also implying feeding starving humans is not a form of conserving human life. Instead, we should leave humans to starve. For example, biologists are purposefully bringing whale carcasses to the polar bears. Better yet, please showcase credible scientific evidence that we are not causing extinction of vital native wildlife and doing nothing is conserving their lives?
