Vital carnivores need to eat other animals to survive. Vital carnivores are actively seeking individuals that are sick, weak, and injured. Thereby, carnivores are increasing the health of the species gene pool they prey upon. No act of human hunting has ever brought a species back from the brink of extinction or increased the health of the species gene pool.

@ Vital is used to exemplify the essential need for native carnivores for a healthful ecosystem. Obligate vital carnivores need to eat other animals out of necessity. Whereas, we have no dietary requirement to eat decaying flesh, mother cow/goat lactation breast milk for her calf turned dairy products, and menstruation eggs of female birds to promote human health. Our needless desire to eat fellow animals and their bodily secretions is pushing vital native biodiversity to extinction.
