If one eats dead animal products, don't you dare call yourself a conservationist. (Former rancher, Howard Lyman)

The most powerful act to create and preserve viable habitats is by eliminating dead animal products. The loss of wild areas to animal agriculture is the leading cause of the current mass extinction of vital native. wildlife. Considered the most comprehensive analysis between farming and the environment, without meat and dairy consumption, global farm land use could be reduced by 75%. An area equivalent to the U.S., China, EU, and Australia combined---and still feed the world. (Source: Oxford University, 2018- Reducing foods environmental impacts through producers & consumers) A win-win for all.

@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre The documentary stated anthropogenic climate change is the greatest threat. Disease ridden animal agriculture creates more greenhouse gas emissions than the entire world's transportation sector combined. (WHO, 2006) To make matters worse, the loss of wild areas to animal agriculture is the leading cause of the current mass extinction of vital native. wildlife. Considered the most comprehensive analysis between farming and the environment, without meat and dairy consumption, global farm land use could be reduced by 75%. An area equivalent to the U.S., China, EU, and Australia combined---and still feed the world. (Source: Oxford University, 2018- Reducing foods environmental impacts through producers & consumers)

Absolutely. The best way to protect is by going vegan. Animal products are a class 1 carcinogen. Eliminating dead animal products is a win-win for all.

Let's create awesomeness by going vegan. There is no greater destruction to life than our needless exploitation of fellow animals.

@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre Animal agriculture is the most ecologically destructive to all native biodiversity. Does it make sense to participate in the most threatening act towards the species one is attempting to conserve? All while, animal products are a class 1 carcinogen for humans.
2
@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre Animal agriculture is the most ecologically destructive industry. The exploitation of fellow animals causes the most air, soil, and water pollution.
2
@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre Until we reckon with the root cause of ecological destruction: animal agriculture---all one is doing is merely delaying the extinction of the species within the geographical location.
2
@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre It is important to understand that destructive industries such as animal agriculture exist due to our demands. It may not be us directly stabbing the individual animals and poisoning the lands to feed the non-human animals, but there is no difference in paying others to kill and pollute on our behalf.
2
@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre The greatest use of land is the exploitation of non-human animals. Transitioning confined animal feed operations, factory farms, slaughterhouses, dead animal packing facilities, and mega refrigeration facilities to slow down the decaying process of dead animals to credible sanctuaries would not take any more land. Our consumption of dead animals and their bodily secretions is the #1 cause of species extinction worldwide. Contributing to the #1 cause of species extinction is not saving a species from extinction. For example, Coca-Cola company sending out a team to pick up some plastic bottles is not tackling the root cause of plastic pollution. Palm fruit containing products is only found in junk food. According to the USDA, over 85% of all palm oil is used in animal products. Thereby, the elimination of dead animal products drastically cuts down the consumption of harmful palm oil. Generating income is not a reasonable justification to destroy the environment. In the U S. alone, human hunters dump millions of pounds of lead into the environment every year. Making human hunters the #1 cause of lead pollution and poisoning today. It is far more admirable when individuals align their actions to prevent the root cause of harm rather than just treating the symptoms.

@ToughieTheRabbsFringeLimbedTre Every GMO cow, chicken, pig, turkey, sheep, duck, and most fish are fed crops. The same land that is used to grow feed crops for exploited gentle non-human animals can be better used to grow crops to feed humans directly. There is no denying that the way we treat the soil could (should) certainly improve. Although it is not necessary to consume avocados and cacao, it actually provides human health benefits. Eating local 7 days a week can not rival the environmental benefits of eating vegan for 1 day. (Carnegie Mellon University, 2008, Weber & Mattew)

Zoo's are concentration camps. Raping female animals intentionally to bring more life into existence for one's brief profit. Born in captivity, die in captivity.
2
Let's be more simple by eating the source of all essential nutrients from plants and fungi. Thereby, showing respect toward fellow animals.

Let's try to eliminate dead animal products. Disease ridden animal agriculture is the most destructive industry to all native biodiversity. Let's eat the source of all essential nutrients from plants and fungi and show respect toward fellow animals.

Let's do our part by eliminating dead animal products.

@crowwithaknife1312 The exploitation of non-human animals is capitalism. It is important to understand that many harmful acts have been carried out for thousands of years. For example, slavery. However, tradition is not a reasonable justification to continue harmful acts. Humans have been clearing land and mining the earth beyond thousands of years to bioaccumulate air polluting greenhouse gas emissions.

@crowwithaknife1312 Everything we need comes from the sun and the soil. All minerals come from the soil. Vitamins are made by plants and fungi. Vitamin D is a sunshine hormone. Vitamin B12 is a bacteria found in waterways and the soil. Protein & omega-3s are only made by plants such as plant algae and flax seeds. All while, our needless desire to consume rotting flesh, mother cow/goat lactation breast milk for her baby turned cheese products, and period eggs of female birds is the most ecologically destructive act.
