Until we reckon with the root cause of anthropogenic GHG emissions: disease ridden animal agriculture--- this is just treating the symptoms.

@eklectiktoni Please provide the scientific evidence that is stating such assertions. Be that as it may, the exploitation of fellow animals (disease ridden animal agriculture) is the largest consumers of fossil fuel. For example, feed crop production, pharmaceutical drugs, transport of GMO crops, transport of innocent animals, slaughterhouses, packing facilities, and the constant refrigeration for decaying flesh and other bodily fluids.

@eklectiktoni Disease causing animal agriculture creates more greenhouse than the entire world's transportation sector combined. (WHO, 2006) It would be wise to align our actions with the respect we hold for life by eliminating the consumption of disease causing dead animal products.

@eklectiktoni To add, animal agriculture is the most ecologically destructive industry. The loss of wild areas to animal agriculture is the leading cause of the current mass extinction of vital native wildlife. Considered the most comprehensive analysis between farming and the environment, without meat and dairy consumption, global farm land use could be reduced by 75%. An area equivalent to the U.S., China, EU, and Australia combined---and still feed the world. (Source: Oxford University, 2018- Reducing foods environmental impacts through producers & consumers)

@eklectiktoni It was never stated as a magic bullet. However, it would be wise to tackle the root cause of ecological destruction: animal agriculture. We all have to eat, but we certainly do not have to consume the bodies of fellow animals and their bodily secretions.

@eklectiktoni The #1 use of harmful fossil fuels is animal agriculture. Disease ridden animal agriculture is the #1 cause of deforestation of vital lands. (NASA) Our absolute unnecessary consumption of rotting carcasses, mother cow/ goat lactation breast milk for her baby turned cheese products is the most ecologically destructive act.

@eklectiktoni The greatest ecological destructive act is disease ridden animal agriculture.
