They were all elderly, and the fire service did a gas check and passed it just hours prior to the explosion, eliminating the theory that the gas meter was tampered with. Looks like the fire service will be needing responsibility for poor checks leading to mass loss of life.
4
Except Australia is one of the few nations on the planet who do not have widespread COVID
4
Our democracy needs to change. Citizen democracy boards, referendum for major issues like with Switzerland, and more importantly, restrictions bound by law and citizen overslight on what MPs and politicians can do e.g. lobbying, corruption, rewarding multi billion contracts to mates BEFORE they are signed
4
I mean, yeah. Current measure of success in business is to grow year on year. That means relying on people to consume more and more. That means the whole world using up resources at a faster rate than the previous year. In a finite world. It's not sustainable.
4
"our hospital now"
4
Russia supplies most of the worlds grain
4
In dictatorships we call it bribery. In the west we call it lobbying, gifts, donations, expenses. Ban it all.
4
Employers being stupid, ironically being in work will hugely increase their chances of getting a new place
4
They're really leaning in on technology. I wonder how many of the tech firms who will win contracts have relationships with MPs and those in government advisory boards.
4
How is this deal any more progressive - or indeed binding - as last year's COP, or the one before that? Greta is right - its all blah blah blah.
4
Those in power have always written the history.
4
They used the food bank excuse for nurses and train drivers as well, both of whom are paid above the median salary - train drivers are in the top 7% of highest paid!
4
£60,000 for train drivers.

4
Good? It means less gas used, less dependence on Russia
4
Nope, it would devalue the price of properties, making them cheaper for first time buyers and governments to repossess for social housing

DOGE to the moon
4
Wait, so this was her major speech and she didn't announce any policies? And the people just sucked it up?
4

4
Exactly, should be legally binding

Define emotion
4
Did America just run out of imagination and copied UK location names?
4
It's so weird how we went from "Russia are running out of weapons, troops that they have to resort to prisoners, oh and Putin has cancer" to "we're all going to die if we don't sign up to be cannon fodder"
4
From one unelected PM to another
4
@Md-18sdv Yup, end of an era 😞
4
Does that include the train drivers on 60k? 😂
4
More specifically, we only hear from one minority group. For the past 3 years, it's like no other race exists
4
French be like "free money" 💰
4
Dozens of countries around the world have suffered from floods, wildfires and droughts, not just Pakistan
4
Hey, it's lastChang! Our favourite 50center.
4
UK taxpayers pay billions training these people, they just abandon ship and go to sunnier shores after they've qualified. Such backstabbing. Uk government needs to shut down these overseas recruitment agencies. Notice all the doctors are going to Australia. It's just them.
4
They don't need men apparently
4
IT girls are the best
4
I love the Swedish language
4
Serbia COVID infection rate: 150 per 1000 people. Australia COVID infection rate: 27 per 1000 people.
4
RIP. Also, 5 times more have died from this than COVID in the country. Incredible.
4
CCTV everything, everywhere
4
Can some journalists investigate how her lawyers have been funded for years?
4
Terrorising an old man. Send them to jail
4
How is this a lie?
4
That's the problem. They're all "legal". But Britain has finite resources. 100 into 1 can't go.
4
The media do know there are people living in California who AREN'T multimillionaire actors, right?
4
Houtus don't like westerners getting their PS5s
4
