  1. In a best case scenario the barge - which took months to be "completed" (that's before the legionnaires outbreak) - could house 500. Yesterday, 750 illegals arrived. The excess will move to hotels (essentially resulting in taxpayers funding "tourists" accommodation - without any of the benefits of tourism) and later on, council homes, exacerbating the waiting list (10 years+ in many areas). This is unsustainable.
