  1. There have been previous cases of qualification fraud by foreigners, which have led to people getting jobs as doctors, diagnosing British patients. We would rather hospitals and GP surgeries hired doctors that went through the British system, as they can be checked and verified for authenticity. Anyone can say they graduated from <insert foreign medical university here>
