  1. Here in Australia you get into the university of your choice only if your ATAR score meets the threshold for your chosen course. Your ATAR score is awarded to you from your HSC (Higher School Certificate or Year 12) exam score. Nothing else gets you in unless you are over 21 years of age then you can apply as a mature age student and need to demonstrate equivalent Year 12 education level and/or work experience.

  3. I'm a 53 year old women and have never watched women's sports in my life. As a child in the 70's I would watch summer tennis with my father and I would see how he watched soccer all the time on his own. Not once did I ask him why we weren't watching any women's teams. Even as a child I knew men and women are not equal and women's sports are dull, lifeless and uninteresting. When watching tennis, once the mixed doubles came on I always got up and turned the TV off. There was no draw card for me. I never cared for women's sports as a child and I don't care as an adult. And I was into fitness my entire adult life. I did gymnastics, Crossfit, Krav Maga and Series 3 Astanga Vinyasa Asana Yoga. Still, I never saw myself as an "athlete". They were just physical activities I did to keep myself fit. I never even watched the Crossfit Games. Boring!!

  7. In France, the government is afraid of the people. They are scared they will become the next Marie Antoinette and get their heads chopped off in an uprising. In the United States, the people are afraid of the government, so wrote into their Founding Constitution the right to both freedom of speech, a right to bear arms against a government uprising and freedom of religious belief. And who is stupid enough to want to appear in a Bud Light commercial anyway? Only leftist skumm would.
