  1. Bullsh*t. I homeschool our 15 year old son. He only studies 2 hours a day Mon-Thu and I teach him. I am literally free the rest of the time. I only spend 30 minutes a day on chores. The rest of my time is exclusively mine to do as I please. I have gained 6 different degrees in the past 15 years because I study online for free because the government pays me to homeschool and I only really need 5% of it for actual homeschool. I use the balance to pay for university courses. I have 15 hours a day free to myself EVERY single day of the week. Mon-Sun. I go where I want, when I want. When my son was little I taught yoga because when he was in bed my husband looked after him and during the day the day care centre in my street looked after him for only $20 a day because our government subsidises daycare fir stay at home mothers NOT for full-time working mother. In my country a woman is penalised for choosing to work outside of the home. I remember the first week our son was born, the money started rolling in with our first payment of $5,000. I get 4 different government payments today for our son because I chose not to work outside of the home. In my country if I chose to work our son would have to start life living in daycare then before and after school care and then school holiday care. My son is securely emotionally attached to me because I have literally not left his side in 15 years and a great 18 year marriagewith my husband. Yet my sister who chose to work full time constantly argues with her husband and has two children who hate her because they barely know her as she had daycare and school care raise them. She paid for expensive private schools for them and her eldest daughter left school aged 16 and started working because she finally got tired of being in a "system" all her life. She drinks, smokes, parties and gives her parents a hard time. My son is home safe with me and away from peer pressure.
