  2. The reason fear of God is the beginning of wisdom is because of the power that He has. He has the power to judge us and send us to jail (Hell) for all eternity. Much the same way you would fear a judge in the highest court has the power to lock you up, fearing God (its actually fear with awe) puts you on your toes and forces you to clean up your act. The Bible describes a person who has no moral direction, is gullible and has a tendency towards evil as a "fool". A fool does not fear God because he believes he has all the power and control in his life, not God. So he does as he pleases. When you fall in line, obey God's commands and live by faith, that's when we are said to be "wise". We are all either fools or wise. Fools live as if there is no God so this is their Heaven and they will go to Hell when they die. A wise person lives as if this were Hell and they will go to Heaven when they die.

  3. My parents fled fascist General Franco run Spain 50 years ago to get away from this horror. They brought us to Australia- the Lucky Country. Its looking less and less lucky by the minute.😰
