  2. Turning off the microphone? Why not just unplug it? Probably the same reason we can't do that with our cameras or why there aren't physical switches for things like power anymore. All of these things were designed with the intention of tracking us. Why do I need 5 cameras on something that was supposedly designed for making phone calls and put in more and more inconvenient spots for covering the cameras up?

  11.  @badxradxandy  where can you even find a dumb phone that will work with modern carriers? Also, I'm certain there are reasons phones around the world are all designed to track people and not just phones local to anybodies nation. Interesting that the idea of simply not having a cell phone doesn't ever occur to anybody. Because even people interesting in security and privacy have been conditioned to want to be tracked. Whether any of us know it or not.

  14. I never got rid of my old devices until they stopped working. I mean, these things cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars and don't take up much space so why are people so eager to get rid of them? I never understood that.

  18.  @VioFax  lol, yeah! I even had a job in computers and security and people I worked with tried to call me a conspiracy theorist for taking about stuff that's been accepted as fact for 30 to 40 years. Why are most people so stupid?

  24. Very true. I mean, we pay cops who don't even have to do their jobs. We'll always be subject to corrupt authority. Even people who are highly interested in and educated in privacy seem to WANT to have their privacy invaded. Why use youtube/google/cell phones/etc. etc. ? We've all been conditioned to simply accept that we're being tracked.
