@Goodchicken_lameducks the population has been growing exponentially for a while.
Do you know what that means?
What was the population of the earth 30 years ago compared to today?
The global population, ideally, to solve most of the world's problems should probably be, what?
Around 500 million?
What was it around 1990?
Over 5 billion?
What was it, only 30 years later, despite multiple recessions and economic downturns where people really couldn't afford to not live paycheck to paycheck (let alone a family/children or a house) most of the time?
What is the current global population?
Over 8 billion?
But nobody wants to address this and instead want to blame the bankers, wealthy, elite, etc.
So having the global population almost double in a generation isn't going to make things more expensive?
We are benefiting from all this automation and technological advancement, but the problem is that people keep getting dumber and the dumb people have the most children.
Just like in Idiocracy, the reason that everything is worse is not because of the rich or intelligent people in the population, but because of the majority of the dumb, selfish and impulsive population.
"They can afford to take a short term loss..."
And why should they?
Why should they let the dumb, selfish and criminally insane majority of the population take advantage of them and their family and business partners or investors?
People need to stop blaming politicians and the wealthy and put responsibility on the 90% of the world that's contributing to the 99% of the problems in our world.
Yeah, I'm not happy that there's power hungry narcissistic psychopaths that make up the majority of politics or bosses at jobs or CEOs at companies, but they are responsible for about 1% of the problems in the world while the 90 - 98% of the world contributes to 99% of the problems.
Does any of that make sense or sound reasonable?
