  1. The EU is divorced from the reality of its own existence. The EU exists to keep German exports happening by lowering the German currency effectively. This is disastrous for everyone, especially the Germans. A market approach is needed as the market is the only agent with enough intelligence to sort out the EU mess and its immanent demise. If the UK has a marketable series, then trade will fish it out, if not, it is time to change till marketability is achieved. If this take hard work, so be it. The EU has the same game, get marketable and survive, ignore the market and go under. Inevitably this is what must happen regardless of socialistic leanings and wrong headed policies. Sovereign states are not brought into existence for no reason, they are balance on a tipping platform, .....no balance, you fall off. Look at the USSR which ignore marketability for so long.
