Beijing still thinks that declarations, statements and rigid planning are more important than market flexibility due to supply and demand. When central planners use force in the marketplace, only chaos can ensue.

  2. Yes, the notion that centrally planned economies can run well and not be hopelessly corrupt and out of touch, is the cornerstone of Communist Leninists' economic theories. Many times has this model showed its weakness. Btw The 3 child policy did not raise the birthrate, only trust and liberty will do that.
