  1. Part of our world is the fact that the climate varies like a flickering light. The 500 million years of history that we have a good record of, shows this. Attributing these constant and spectacular changes to some small this or that, then choosing the one you think you can manage, is fraud with hubris. The Aztecs thought the same and yes 20K folk a year had their hearts removed and shown to the nodding, gullible audience, as a testimony to the power of the priests ability to appease God. Did it work? Some would say yes. If you live in a vast desert, Australia is most like a vast dry continent, then yes you will get fires and lots and lots of em. The critters are adapted.
