It's not left, nor Communism, nor 'woke', it is a vain and in vain attempt to control the social world, without knowing the roots of power, which is knowledge and a very deep and skilled one at that. It is a seething discontent, an envy of what these folk cannot, perhaps ever have, and that is satisfaction and a disregard for the silly judgement of others. It completely riles the rattled woke, that there are normal, little folk who can have, for themselves and in their world, a quiet, sincere and innocent pleasure of simply being themselves. The entire preoccupation with what others may be thinking and judging and doing, is so fixating that all else goes out the window. It is a mania, and an acute one, and yes there will be all sorts of repercussions, but the best one can do is to carry on with one's life, however humble and humbled that may be, ignoring the madness of the deluded crowds. It will end, and the crash will be deafening, as the 'victims' of themselves, devour themselves. Hint, don't listen or even try to, even if you have to ditch all your 'friends', stay yourself. It's not a war, it's an attempt at an ideological hegemony. This sort of thing is as old as the hills and the fiercer the onset the faster the extirpation. Yes a lockdown of sanity and an occupation, but as it has no substantial or moral supports it will fade mist in the sun. We are all here for the 'duration'.
