  2. The overriding patriotic groundswell of the rich history of China has been towards freeing thoughts and deeds vs crushing autocracy and elite control. CCP's notion of patriotism is 'be obedient slaves'. Notions of an individual or family or the good, exist only in the context of the bonded labour of the great Chinese folks' minds and bodies. Communism, born by the sword, lives by ruthless use of the sword and succumbs eventually to the human passion for free thinking and acting on an individual level.
