What the US is doing in terms of the Chinese chips industry is the same as being in a fight with your enemy and you're not going to give them your weaponry. It is perfectly logical and communist. China has made it clear that it is the enemy of all humane peoples and all peoples who have disdain for totalitarian oppression and tyranny. The Chinese chip industry is in a lamentable state because of its own internal corruption. This sort of corruption is rife throughout communist China and is understandable as anyone in communist China, who knows the system well, knows that it is going to collapse and that they better embezzle money and get out ASAP.
