This trade block, formed after WW2, enabled and encouraged the misanthropic totalitarian regimes to engage in trade. It was thought that 'Change through Trade' may happen to humanise these hurtful regimes. Instead, such as in communist Russia n CCP China's case, they have dug in like an infection and threaten now, the limb and organism with poison and virulent flows of putrid pus.
