  1. Samuel, same as many American GIs were viewed by the Vietnamese ... Latvian Waffen SS were formed from the young Latvians whose families and relatives were TORTUREDM and KILLED by Soviet Commissars ... and so they didnt have any 'love lost' for any 'card carying Communists' fighting Nazis - no better , no worse than in any wars ... ( read a real MILITARY HISTORY , and not the 'propaganda history' which the Soviets propagated, after WWII, and the war American propaganda machine just copied, and the so called 'historians' simply parrot ... 🙂)
