  6.  @Paerigos  it's possible that you know more about it than I, but Russia / Putin seems to be 'hell-bent' to keep those (for now) , as useless as they may be ... ... but to put it simply, I guess Putin is playing the "LONG GAME" - and NATO/USA is playing the "SHORT GAME" ... ... while the UKRaine is paying with "BLOOD" - 😞 WHAT A WORLD !

  7.  @firasbouhamdan9917  (I am not as smart as Zeihan ... :-) ) but DUH! - everyone knows that Putin would 'settle' this in a N.Y. minute ( however not to 1991 borders ... ) - IF Russia got the assurances from NATO that UKRaine will NOT become a part of NATO 🙂 Since that's NOT forthcoming, we can watch this mess for another few more years .. ( USA is testing new weaponry and military tactics, UKR Mafia around Zelenkij is getting RICH form the BILLIONS the U.S.A . is sending him to keep fighting, Putin has nothing to lose, Russia's 'war economy' is booming, and the HIGH OIL prices give Putin Very High Oil/Gas Profits ... so what's not to like for all ? ... Oh, wait, wait, don't tell me, thousands of Ukies ( and Russians ) are DYING, well that's just TOO BAD - war is biatch ! 😞

( their major Capital Cities are just minutes away from Kaliningrad ... by ICBM ) ( I doubt U.S. would EVER fire on Russia - unless they want the annihilation of 80% of the American major cities ( 80-100 million casualties) - Russia would lose ONLY Moscow, and St Pteresburg ... the rest of Russia are mostly smaller cities ( (> 500K-1M) )
