  3. Kevin, sure - and even the farmers in the early 20th century generated (wind) power to pump water, and andeven some electricity on their FARMS in the MidWest ... But YOU CANNOT RUN THE MODERN COUNTRY IN THE 21ST CENTURY with 3kW-5kW arrays on your house - CAPISCE ! ! ? ( the ONLY way we will be able to go even 25% FULL ELECTRIC ECONOMY - presently 4% (!) of the cars are electric - ... if we start building the NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION - and of course the corresponding HI-VOLTAGE transmissions line grids to connect the areas :-) - BUT it seems that the "Woke Morons" neither understand Physics and Engineering; or are so DUMB that they are happy with their 'heads in the sand' - that they will wait until the major "Black-OUTS" and the "BROWN-OUT" will be happening ( already very close to it that in CA) ... and then they will SQUEEL like the stuck pigs ... and will "blame" Trump, or some such 'enemy of the people' ! LOL !

LK-99 Superconductor LOL ! ... sure the science ( mostly using cryogenics) has been known since 19th century ! ... this is just another 'cold fusion' BOOO BOOO BOO - BTW Zeihan is WRONG about 'local' utilities - in North-America they are MANY Hi-Voltage transmission Lines over 1,000 miles long :-) - Peter, brush up on your electricity generation and physics .. :-) BTW Zeihan is 100% CORRECT that we have NO ELEC GRID sufficient , but mainly NOT ENOUGH OF ELECTRICAL GENERATION, to POWER in scale more that , say 10%-15% of the automobiles, or trucks - to switch them to electrics ... :-)
