  1. I think that allot of what Ryan said also makes me think that there likely are no shortcuts through space and time. No warp drives no FTL. Mass is our prison. If there is intelligent life out there it is stuck where it is just as we are stuck in this solar system. Even the material thrown out in jets from magnetars and black holes doesn’t go faster the speed of light and I cant even imagine that amount of energy.
