@totalhamasdeath Without the cumbersome bureaucracy and messy transparency and all that the US would have corruption problems just as bad as China. And even so its not like we don’t have any corruption its just more under control. The transparency and accountability is critical.

you can tell a country has a rubbish military if they are spending time doing those show of force parades. Its like a cat puffing up its fur before a fight.

@王震-d2j 70 years ago was a long time and the US doesn’t need aircraft carriers to prevent the invasion of Taiwan. Running an assault across a straight is really really hard. Landing all those troops and hardware on a beach in modern times would be insane without complete air superiority. No one even knows how many anti ship missiles Taiwan has. Its just not worth it.

@GoogleUserGmail The US would have won without the A-bomb however many more US military would have died in an invasion. By the time the Abomb was used Japan had lost most of its islands it had occupied and were being cut off from critical supplies like fuel.
