  7. even if they did it wouldn’t stop trees from growing now that was 40 years ago. Haiti was taken advantage of by international banks / betrayed by US policy makers and just has super bad luck. the fruit trees are the least of their problems

  10. because the US has about a million problems that everyone everywhere expects it to solve and unfortunately Haiti is not at the top of the list because it doesn’t affect business, trade or defense.
