  5. I think In the US the trades, machinists technicians jobs are looked down on by “white collar” workers. I don’t think this is the case in central europe but I don’t really know.

  8. This is all probably true of office workers however. Many jobs involve actually physically doing work. Which means none of that is relevant. I also noticed that all the upper managers are working from home and need status updates because they don’t show up so cant see for themselves. It makes sense for programers and customer support people to work from home less so for other people.

Also no one gets pensions and these days a house costs 10-20 times a average yearly salary. this is probably because all the investment banks have been buying up houses and sitting on them so that rich peoples 401ks keep going up. this will not keep working forever.

  13. Yea right before the pandemic I quit my Job and started an engineering consulting / design company. Mostly custom submersible robotics. So not only do we constantly have to come up with new solutions all the time we have to estimate how much it will cost so if we estimate wrong we loose money and still have to do the job. I hate doing quotes and estimates the most.👎

  16. taxes are not the problem at the moment they are low. Its price fixing and monopolies. big corporations have been buying up all the small business for like 40 years and now they own most of them and can set prices however they like.
