  1. I wish GM was more committed to making useful series hybrids and EVs like the bolt and volt. I dont need an electric hummer and people that like hummers are not going to buy an EV.

  2. thats not true at all i own the car the engine can definitely generate power and it only directly drives the wheels under certain conditions on the highway. it depends on state of charge throttle condition and speed.
