  2. You would hate them no matter what they said. They have been talking about how the cost of housing and medical care have spiked in recent years. This does have to do with housing supply. Its not like there were no greedy companies in the 80s and 90s.

  4. Yea OK… its Ezra and his wife they are the problem. They are discussing whey the models that have been used in the past don’t work. They don’t own businesses or set wages. Also most reporters don’t get paid that much lately. You could make more being an Electrician. or an oil worker. so this blame the “liberal elite” might make you feel better but wont get you anywhere.

  5. In DC 10 years ago we were paying like 28k a year for child care. It was the same as our rent. these problems are not new.

  9.  @rickr530 you didn’t listen to the whole podcast. They did talk about out of control housing costs. They did talk about ballooning medical care cost. They are talking about why the models don’t match reality. It is a Fact that from a macro economics perspective the US is doing well. That doesn’t mean that people are happy about their personal economy.
