  18. I don’t think there are rules about it in the constitution. because in the old days the vp was often whoever got second place. The party politics on the selection of candidates is not really covered.

  19. I was reading the constitution and VP nominee rules are really up to the political party and its internal rules which can be changed whenever. states have rules however it would vary by state.
