  2. ginger bill is doing amazing work with odin and its a delightful langauage for the games and graphics domain imo. But, I would like to point out that C is not dead and is being actively developed. For example, we use defer in c 21 that are implemented with the macros. It would be awesome if chris broguth someone Dawid and Jens who are pioneering the modern c.

  3. Another great podcast episode. I love listening to your podcasts when I am working or doing programming. They are very enlightening, and make me interested in new things. I am a c developer by heart but I am beginning to get interested in zig as well because of new podcasts here.

You should take a look at modern c. its much more better. also c is not dead language. it is actively being developed and feature are being added every year. also, its common misconception that you have to do everything by scratch in c. i write c everyday and at no point i have to do everything from scratch, but i use variety of libraries to get the job done.

  5. thank you for another good talk krish. I kind of don't like the Roc language after trying it for a while because it tries to emulate the elm and it fails spectacularly, it literally fails at everything it tries. I also don't like what the community did to Evan and elm in general. other than its not the worst the language I've come across.

  7. So I lost 5 hours of life because of very stupid simple pointer pair mistake I did in the mmap code. :( Yes, c sucks but it would have happened in zig as well.
