Just the other day I had a nightmare about being on Gaza and woke up the in the middle of the night.   5. been doing vlang before rust here. v has improved a lot and also the community doesn't like or tolerate tolerate egotistical people. been in discord community since it started. i repeatedly post that v sucks and give proper reasons and never got any pushback but advice to improve my code. its a no nonsense community, and that dude is clearly schizo posting on the community that doesn't like it. from my point of view there is no drama in vlang community, that dude wanted to manufacture it and got clapped for it. vlang is literally the dramaless and less hyped rust alternative that we've been using in production to do prototype in as its has lots of tools built in. also one person supporting his claim was clearly his alt account. lmao.

But, I would like to point out that C is not dead and is being actively developed. For example, we use defer in c 21 that are implemented with the macros. It would be awesome if chris broguth someone Dawid and Jens who are pioneering the modern c.

  9. Every language has a use case where it is the best and where it is the worst. C# is very good for stability without much effort and used a lot in fintech industry. Where it sucks is when it comes to hosting the shit you write. It doesn't play nice with containers, especially if you're in older version of .Net and costs arm and a leg to host and scale on azure. Also MSServer licenses are a nightmare. Other than that, it got special place in my heart.

You should take a look at modern c. its much more better. also c is not dead language. it is actively being developed and feature are being added every year. also, its common misconception that you have to do everything by scratch in c. i write c everyday and at no point i have to do everything from scratch, but i use variety of libraries to get the job done.

I kind of don't like the Roc language after trying it for a while because it tries to emulate the elm and it fails spectacularly, it literally fails at everything it tries. The reason communism says not to worship heroes because they are created by blood and imaginable suffering they create, the fact that Chinggis killed inordinate amount of people to do what he did is sad piece of history and not to be revered. Also communism is not just about workers of the world to unite, its the only scientific analysis of human history without any favoritism and biases, and hence concludes labor is what makes the world. Please take a look at Process of Capitalism Formation by Marx and analyze it critically and you'll come to see how scientific it is, rather than believing the red scare propaganda. I love your analysis of history, its very scientific and unbiased, you need to do same for communism/capitalism things as well, I believe western world has moved past capitalism and into the techno feudal state.

Cause my work is open source. :D And I started getting confidence, advice and good practices by finding good first issues and contributing to open source and how I got my job. That being said, if your whole motivation is trying to get job oss might not be the way. It took me like 10 years contributing before finding a job and I would have much easier way by just applying to jobs and leetcoding hard. :| Very good take Theo.

Farming in Europe is very bad industry, it relies on slave labor from third world countries and is one of the top contributors of destruction of ecosystem. They are not like farmers from India or any other developing nations, but powerhouse filled with billions of dollars in capital and huge ass lobby.   61. i saw the you can't logic out of depression video and gifted kids video and quit smoking weed. my life is objectively better now and although I am cosmically sad and I do understand why I am depressed. I don't think i would ever think about killing myself because i do have a family that loves me and will be very hurt if I do stupid thing like that which I have realized won't solve any of my problems. I have also kind of learned to live with the broken world despite feeling helpless about the state of the world. I would be very interested to see how I can stop thinking about the suffering of so many people in the world and my helplessness about not being able to do anything for those people. Does anyone else have very good life but is depressed because they see people suffering every day and it makes them sad?
