  1. Maybe my thinking is to reductionist, but this all rings of Orwellian double-think to me. Generations of totalitarian control of the people and the information they get, from the latter half of the 19th century through today has made their people either ready and/or indifferent to accept whatever those in power tell them to believe, and has made the powerful masters of crafting their message to said people to get the masses to bend to their desires.
