  1. I'm from Belarus, country that suffered one of the most from Chernobyl disaster. I'm a fan of nuclear power. How I became a fan of nuclear power? Through being interested in Shinkansen and TGV high speed rail rise. I have no idea what kind of logic chain my brain had formed in my subconsciousness to lock it up that way, but here we are. I assume it's connection between stable power production of nuclear power plants and stable power consumption of efficient rail network that make both possible and profitable for the state as a complex issue. Which always led me to wondering why US has neither and if the car lobby was the unintended enemy number one of nuclear power production.
