@ReinhardSchuster "It's still in development" And J-35 is a mass produced plane already. No, I didn't misname F-35, I mean J-35, a plane that had just taken all the export contracts Su-57 could have ever hoped to have IF it had gone into production. Will Russia dare to piss off China by proposing sales of planes to India and piss off main chinese ally against India ie Pakistan, by selling to Iran? I highly doubt that. And that means that Su-57 will have neither economy of scale, not exports to lower its price. Meaning that Russia will NOT be producing it. They will beg China to sell J-35 instead. I can bet that on May parade in 2030, it would be J-35 flying over Red Square, NOT Su-57 🤣

The issue is that after reveal of J-32(I'm not going to call it J-35), all that is inconsequential. PRC will take both the export market AND russian market for stealth strike fighters. There is no way Su-57 would be able to match economy of scale of J-32 no matter how little Russia will pay workers and as such, J-32 would be a more economic option to Russia. Unless Russia wants to publicly worsen relation with China by positioning Su-57 as a counterpart to J-20 and J-32 for itself, India(and maybe Iran, depending if their relationship with Pakistan would get even worse). And even then we still run into the questions of cost... and quality(context - China stopped purchasing russian aircraft engines in several stages in 2014-2018 period citing low quality as a reason).

^ Cry harder. China has 15 years of experience with J-20. So I'm not worried for J-35. Unlike Su-57 that flies on engines that PRC stopped buying because they were unreliable 🤣👍 J-35 over Red Square in 2030, mark my words. Russia will scrap Su-57 like T-14 and would be buying J-35.
