Ehm, you've grossly underestimated the numbers. During Battle of Berlin soviets spent between half a million and almost a million shells in artillery barrage on expected german defense positions. Over 20k guns involved. In single day. Resulting in crazy small amount of actual german casualties. IE during WWII soviets(who were always short of materiel) spent the same amount you mentioned on de facto failed single barrage. Yes, those were mostly 76mm shells for field guns and not modern divisional or even corps 120-155mm guns, but still. You get the idea. Maybe half a billion?😅

 @shyone8386 Russia spends more then 20% of GDP on military... correction, SPENT. Before it attacked Ukraine and started failing. And you're saying that 3,5% is high?😅
