  1. ​ @frankguz55  you're not really reading his comment, are you? Please remind me what basic geometry that you're trying to use as an argument says about plate thickness and weight? You may be replacing a vertical 120mm plate with angled at 60° from vertical 60mm one, but you're also replacing a significan portion of 10mm roof plate with it here and are cutting the internal volume of this corner in half.

  3. 0:10 The people who sprout those myths have never heard of A7V? Sloped armor was a staple of CSS Virginia in 1862 and even before that was an intended design choice in plate armor for centuries.
