  2.  @nobodynoname6062  Not THAT light skinned. BMP can on a good day survive 20mm round to the front if lucky. BTR hardly stops rifle rounds(it should, but in practice it doesn't).

  3.  @Legalizeasbestos  idk if you're unaware or ignoring part of the context. Stryker has MEXAS applique composite armor, BTRs don't(BTR-4 does, but it's a ukranian one)

  5.  @TheArcticFoxxo  both soviet and american sources claim that BMP can survive a 20mm to the frontal heavily slopped part... on a good day. If lucky. If I'd get to choose I'd still prefer to sit inside BMP rather BTR when shot at with 7.62*51 or 54R. However if I'd have to choose between BMP-2 and BTR-4, I'd probably choose a vehicle covered with MEXAS... and very roomy in comparison:D
