@johnnygyro2295 oh, then you haven't heard half of the story. They KILLED OFF Rhodes too to make space for her. When they presented Ironheart(which at the time didn't have her own name, they expected to just run away with taking away Iron Man), they have already preemptively put Tony in coma, killed Rhodes, forced Potts to retire and removed Iron Lad from timeline. So they removed a person wearing red and gold suit and Iron in the name, black person, a woman and a teenager to steal exactly listed characteristics and only them(because screw seeing Rhodes for anything more then just a black guy in power armor, right? Screw his USAF background that makes him actually know what he's doing. And screw Pepper for being able to multitask whole army of drone suits unlike Tony. Why make them different, let's steal whole "iron family"!) and combine into single "original" character. Imagine someone killing off whole Fantastic Four to replace them with Super Skrull? Or rather Justice League by Composite Superman?

@yourfavoriteyoutubesubscriber0 Iron Man was one of the top Marvel properties. The fact that you weren't yet born to see the 90's doesn't change that, sorry. Merch, animation series, arcades. He was less popular then Spiderman, X-Men, Fantastic Four and (somehow) Hulk, but that's also why he WASN'T sold to Sony.

@isaacsaina3170 Ironheart is NOT Miles Morales, Ahsoka Tamo, Damian Wayne or X-23! If authors ever wanted to make character viable that's whom they'd have to learn HOW to do it, but that's NOT whom she is now. I bet that Supergirl was also met like that(likely not, but bear with me) and needed some panel/screen time, characterization and actually interesting plots to make her viable character on her own, but it was 1950's so nobody probably remembers how it was back then\/(-_-)\/
