@BWMagus cultural appropriation, cultural genocide, defamation. I'm pretty sure there are enough names that can be connected to that, especially in countries that suffered osman rule and then fought actual nazis only to hear this bs being produced. Maybe China should start a conveyor of filming "documentaries" about how confederates were good guys, who only wanted freedom from union, who forced small states like Texas to join it just like Russia cut off Crimea from Ukraine and forced it to join? What would be a reaction to this? Will it run in theatres? Which network will buy it? Maybe you need even better examples to understand why somebody might want to seek legal action and oppose blatant propaganda pieces that benefit only current goals of the creator?
