  1.  @andrespodra8459  remind me how many people died in Siege of Leningrad that happened because USSR forced Finland into being allied to Axis? How was that romanian Bessarabia for you? Maybe Stalin should have also tried to take South Sakhalin "back" in 1940? Maybe attack Turkey too? It sure sounded like great idea in retrospect, didn't it?:D USSR used an excuse of poor russians workers being bullied and enslaved in Finland when invading and... proceeded only to destroy their workplaces, kill them and then retreat without freeing them? They also didn't found out how Finland bombarded soviet border outpost with soviet artillery from a further inland direction of soviet forces. Teleportation maybe? That tech sure would have turned useful a year later! Did Finland continue to exist as independent nation? Yes. Were soviet commanders prosecuted for this failure? Yes. Were the goals named in soviet propaganda reached? No. So who won, dear? Russia only goes to the table to discuss terms if they're losing. And they did go to that table after wiping their drool and moving the goal post so far up back that it ended in their ass. Oh, and look at that, Erdogan says that Putin is interested in sitting at a diplomatic table, what might that mean?
