Prop gun - a plastic prop that looks like a gun Blank gun - real gun that has barrel and gas system modification to cycle with a blank and also has increased muzzle flash and sound profile then just firing a blank. They can't take live ammo due to the caliber being actually much smaller then original gun. Gun gun - just gun. Can't cycle with blanks. So sometimes uses adapter on the barrel. Live round would have trouble going through some adapter designs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  5.  @lairdcummings9092  1)Brandon should have mentioned it, I legit thought we talked about AR; 2)it opens a whole new can of worms here as in this case you can actually inspect the ammo easily. Again, I though the incident happened with preloaded mags. Something that happens during training exercises for example.

The memes however called this incident completely copying his own comment on gun safety and danger of untrained individuals an ironic contradiction. But there isn't contradiction. He literary attempted to sacrifice two souls to prove his point:D

  11.  @wholock0001  Nagant can be made a blank gun, but yeah, doesn't make sense for other revolvers. Sorry, my mistake, haven't know it was a western and the gun in question was revolver(which makes it even worse as it's easy to check the ammo), I just assumed we talked about AR of said me kind(hence my comment on cycling).
