How about a list of games that killed franchises on it's rise? With Prototype 2 being somewhere around 6-7 place...
9
WatchMojo.com Dune II is a honorable mention while Starcraft II(not the first one!) is the first place of the list? Lol, were you high, guys?;\
6
What? To Skyrim? That simplified corpse of Oblivion with 3 quests you can remember and none of which are main and just as many characters whose name you'll remember is an example of an RPG? Seriously? Minecraft generation...
4
+HaDeZ Clan 80% of world economy is based around fossil fuels and energy. Tony has monopoly on fusion tech that makes whole infrastructure used in this fields obsolete. Wakanda is not one of the superpowers on global political arena. Black Panther does not have 100% rights on all of his countries wealth. Now put all of this together and try to repeat what you've just said, please:\
3
Bethesda's pseudo Fallouts you mean?
3
+Jose Brito wait, wasn't she blown up? Yes, I know it's a choice and so on. But let's face it. Liara is official Bioware's waifu that get's the most screentime and is suited for any character and will like you almost no matter what and Kaidan is more usefull then Ashley in battle however since neither of them is used most of the time that's not the point. Ashley refusing to take part in threesome and talking sh//t into my face from ME1 is. Left hugging nuke.
3
+PissOnYerFinger Hawk is a Mary Sue that'll survive no matter what besides I'm very interested to see how far can I drag Loghain through all the crap in Thedas:))
3
+Cagnazzo "He's basically Bruce Wayne if Bruce Wayne actually knew how to properly spend his money." Bruce simply never had a chance to get THAT much money and influence. Tony basically controls worlds fuel and energy infrastructure. Crisis of Two Earth Lex vs Tony?
2
+baal blade So Bruce beating Kal to a draw using his psych restrictions, kryptonite and Zod's armor(which did a good job in MoS just as Clark's own non rippable blue suit:)) is less realistic then Tony NOT using a hundred of remote controlled Hulkbusters with support modules in upcoming Civil War film(or at almost any other situation) without any reasoning behind such restrictions AGAIN?
2
shashwot kc Nope, he wouldn't. No speed force in Marvel universe, remember? Flash was beaten by angry mob of meta haters. Besides his power always vanish when put against Kal, Diana or Bruce despite not being limited by laws of physics in any way unlike Kal for example. As for Ironman's weakness being EMP... how exactly can he use it as one of his weapons then? Is Superman walking around with tiberium this days?
2
Nicodamus Likewise he had died to Joker while Tony fought Thor, Thanos, screwed up Phoenix Force and so on. Either bring up facts or just drop it. Or do you want to say that nowaday Spider-man would likewise beat Lex Luthor in his armor?
2
Nicodamus can you provide the link and a date when this was "calculated"? Is this even about MCU Tony or about a comics one when he was on verge of losing his company?
2
Myles Hubbard how much of your life depends on vibranium and how much on electricity? Yep, lol indeed. Or maybe you're not very bright...
2
SIMPDUDE Yeah, his authors said that he has more money then gross global production of the whole planet... somehow. While people who obviosly take part in parts of the market with enormous demand are somehow not even close. A//pull, bullsh//t and idiotic authors that have no idea about how economics(and goverment since he's a prince, not sole owner) work can't even describe the full depth of this f//ck up. I guess Black Panther is Damian Wayne of economy:))
2
Macephtopheles Which will drop the price on gold and strike gold reserves of many countries causing a lot of trouble...
2
Macephtopheles Well, Tony's suits are calculated to cost 2.3-3.7 billions each, but that is if someone else would have been creating them. They're designed by him, put together by him and even calibrated by him. No need to pay sh//tloads of high pay specailists for years plus all thematerials he gets from his company. And as I've said, he does not even need to pay for energy. Dr.Strange on the other hand won't use it in such a way exactly because it by some 1/100th percent of a chance might cause trouble on bigger scale and influence a lot of people's lives in a bad way. Yeah, the whole tread is people talking about irl economics no being the same as comic book ones and then saying that Black Panther would be the richest because they believe that's how irl economics work.
2
Giacomo Bianchi But the only person who's working on them is him. Or does he put his own salary on the list?
2
Macephtopheles His first reactor was made from scraps. Non of the materials he uses for reactors are THAT expensive(except for unknown one he uses as reactor core conductor AND synthesizes himself too anyway). What else? From the start of the Avengers we see Tony promoting his fusion tech. Who said that Stark/Avengers tower does not provide most of NY's energy now? Just install a stationary version instead of a smaller fusion cell and yes, the analogy here is very precised. Hulkbuster had dozens of smaller cells instead of bigger one so it's almost guaranteed that by this time Tony is mass producing them even if for his own purposes. Heli carriers are created thanks to his tech(and thanks to Deadpool we've seen one more giving us a total count of 5 already). His fusion reactors are both clean, safe and can outproduce anything for their size. How much he can get from signing contract for one of ITER size?
2
Savannah Tuttle yeah, in the one where Tony and any other contender wasn't born:D
2
Why is Strelok from Shadow of Chernobyl among honorable mentions? It's a reveal, yes, but he's the good guy all along!
2
...and all of it feels like wielding a piese of rolled paper. Skyrim has the same level of combat system as Minecraft. Don't embarass yourself by such statements, Dylan
2
Mjolnir can and not if we talk about pre-Crisis one. Thor himself can't do sh//t
2
Liz ard Well, if we're talking about Vorcha, Batarrians, 90% of Krogans, Salarian and Turian officials and so on, it's not so easy not to hate them... not to mention that Asari attitude.
2
***** radioactive dust...

Someone should understand a difference between a dlc and add-on. Because those were add-on's. Right DLC's were those extra skins and so on that were free and haven't raped the game balance. If the dlc adds a piece of the story that feels as if should have been there for extra money then something is wrong with a game itself.
2
Soldano999 Well, back in times of Morrowind it wasn't just that. Compared to Skyrim that game was just massive for it's time.
2
Soldano999 Morrowind wasn't a breakthrough, but it was the game that got most work done in the whole series. Most of the books we find in Skyrim and Oblivion are from there. In comparison Bethesda is investing very little work in their titles nowadays. I've prefered Gothic back then.
2
Racionalitat n'andalú thanks to at least someone finding the words to point out why Morrowind is the golden age of the series and one of the corner stones of the genre... while Skyrim is a commercial success thanks to megatons of advertisement(even Blizzard's Overwatch probably had less), but on the inside is quiet void and unmemorable expirience.
2
Racionalitat n'andalú what a pile of bullsh//t strating from third sentence. TES is infamous for it's pathetic AI. Saying that it's world feels more living then Gothic? I'm out. Bye. Good trolling btw.
2
So as long as the victim is straight white man everything is ok, right? Except if the film does somehow not view polygamy, nudism or swingers not in a bad light of course. Because then, quoting LGT "white knights", it's a sin and perversion.
2
Jarsia in ME genetic and cybernetical augmentation is an expected from you norm(which the game never actually attempts to use in a storyline or show in a different light for some reason) and the armor is never praised despite all of their models being highly advanced power armor with loads of integraded systems(those ungrateful f///s=( ) and the one you've probably meant(N7 Destroyer) is more of a damned mecha that completly replaces wearers abillities. Oh and on this account more people will recognise Crysis suit then MC's btw, sorry to interfere.
2
Hamster- Knight yep:) Why not? It's not like you guys came up with unique comments and have any argumentation in it's defense beyond "but he has all this vibranium and we couldn't live our everyday lives without it". Objections?
2
***** Star Control 2 was great for it's time!

Camper hunter(BF3-4) and Maniac with an axe(DayZ) anyone?

lugit36 well, I decided since "Black Panther is the richest because only Wakanda has vibranium that is needed for everyday survival of human race more then air and all profit from it goes directly to his pocket and not country's budget" comments were SO original, then I'll simply copy paste it. So yeah, LOL, but who and about whom, huh?:))

Marvelous Mehki slightly improved gameplay does justify all this "story"?
1
Marvelous Mehki the whole story was crap from the very set up. Alex suddenly becomes a villain, who contradicts himself on every turn, GenTek is back, Pariah never existed, Dana, who was infected with Redlight is ok, city is full of people again, Karen Parker is dead despite Alex leaving her scared in that elevator and so on.They've taken every bad turn they could.
1
Marvelous Mehki Redlight is incurable and unlike Blacklight that is a combination of "super soldier serum" and "perfect bioweapon that targets specific people with specific genetic markers" is plain "walking mass disease that makes zombies". Basically, she would have infected the city again by simply walking out. He wasn't even an anti-hero. He was not giving a single f//ck about anything. Why did he started to care(I'm not going to comment on a way authors decided for him to show his "care")? And yes, that comic is also a pile of sh//t. Alex does not get neither expirience nor Web of Intrigue for finding Karen. The only place she's mentioned as dead is some social network account of one of said authors responsible for follow up mess done before release of P2. GenTek failed in it's tasks and received a crapload of bad publicity. It would have been shutdown and it's resources and projects given to other company or institute. You haven't commented on people staying in city that received a fallout and where millions died in a horrible event just on the other bank of the river from a horrible disease(with Red Zone being the financial, logistic and infrastructure center of the city, how was it supposed to function normally?). Would you stay if you were in their place?
1
Marvelous Mehki And that would have given him exp... which he didn't get either as I've already mentioned above. Besides seeing Karen guilty after stopping hostilities with "Cross" is a bit too much of a stretch, don't you think? Red Zone is Manhattan Island. If you haven't read what I've just written(again. It's quite obvious by now that you don't read my comments before "answering", it's the center of the city. All roads lead there. Now it's a mass grave. To a virus that might still be there. In a city that was almost nuked and still received some mild fallout. Where transportation system is in ruins as most likely are water and electricity. And your chances of finding a job are close to zero. Once again, would you stay?
1
Marvelous Mehki oops, my bad this time, haven't put together that you were actually answering my question:\
1
Marvelous Mehki for some reason I really was missing Prototype when playing through Phantom Pain. Your thoughts?
1
Marvelous Mehki And he also didn't improve a single bit despite having expirience of hundreds of specialists at his disposal. Remember the scene when he curses at computer? Let's all thank Radical for moron player character with anger issues.
1
Marvelous Mehki I wouldn't use it as an excuse for being an idiot.
1
Marvelous Mehki yeah, like that time screaming at keyboard. Very merciful.
1
Marvelous Mehki Alex haven't killed Dana, "Cross"(while he still was Cross), Ragland and Karen. And "Nice guy" achievement states that he killed less then a dozen civilians. Most of the game he also was angry and allowed himself to be fooled a lot(until somewhere around 3/4th of the storyline). Yet he wasn't ACTING stupid and swearing just to swear. Your point? My point that they've made Heller a cliche "scary black man"(something developers of Watch Dogs 2 are doing right now minus scary part with their barely out of teen protagonist: "He's a black guy from bad neighbourhood=he's expert in all forms of weaponry and combat and has no qualms about killing". Not to mention how they perceive the meaning of "hacker" - 3d printer, quadcopter, social media acoount and tons of happyness for amounts of likes... strange that his main transport isn't a f//cking segway... with spinner wheels and hydraulics). then added up a cliche "stupid military grunt" and topped it with unending rage borrowed from Kratos.
1
Marvelous Mehki I've already pointed out that he didn't kill her. Otherwise it would have been left obvious and not needing any clarification on social media from one of the members of developement team before release of second game. Want to point out that they're developers and know better? Pariah in P2? And we also see him talking to "Cross" on the rooftop, explaining whole story as well as not attacking when "Cross" showed up to reveal himself as informant. As for Heller, I guess I haven't noticed it by then after facepalming myself too much and wanting the game to finally reach it's end.
