  1. As a person, who was born in USSR and spent the rest of their life in eastern europe, I always disliked police pretending to be civilians. Because usually you see them doing that when they try to provoke anyone to resist them for example by breaking into your car and then arresting you for attacking a cop just to fill the quota. "We're civilians, but we're not civilians and we do anything we want because you live in authoritarian state", lol:D Idk if their "popularity on TV" says more about your country or about them.
