@aaronbulmahn3817 Thailand and Vietnam also opposed chinese pressure btw. Vietnam in an armed way even. As for Taiwan and Hong Kong, USA made it apparent which side they chose with their silence. You should strengthen the ties with EU, India, Japan, Russia and Iran instead, they won't be kneeling to chinese corporation and their lobby money(ok, Russia is 50/50. Putin is too dumb to realise that China is greatest threat to his country and its people).

@aaronbulmahn3817 dealing with Hitler was risky and both Poland(1935/1938/1939) and USSR(1939/1941) found out that it was a bad decision. However dealing with China nowadays is a suicide, plain and simple. Yeah, sure, let's deal with China to weaken USA and raise ourselves, what could go wrong? Right? Does anybody ever think what'll happen if China actually wins in economical standoff with USA though? USA is already bending itself to China on most issues due to corporate pressure and lobbies.
