  1. "French engineers copy nobody and nobody copies french engineers" as the old saying goes. Sweden and France are basically the only two military industries in Europe that retained independent full cycle engineering schools and full production array from small arms to satellites and naval vessels. That's why entry of Sweden into NATO is a big deal. Especially since Germany is repeatedly refusing to perform necromancy on its arms industry and arms industries of Italy and UK are in comatose state.
