Yes, you are TOLD. When the time will come to act, you will be threatened with much more then discharge. It's not so hard to put treason charges into paperwork you sign if things get worse. We have already seen that before, thanfully usually not in US. Will you do the same in face of imprisonment? Or worse?

To USA it is not a precedent... as this country is very cordial about NOT learning on mistakes of others. Or its own. We can also go back to how Lenin wrote "Developement of Capitalism in Russia" after being sent to prison by largely feudal system of the time. @AdmiralBison Wall Street is just full of glorified clerks, many of whom aren't good at their job. They'd be replaced the next day and stock exchanges in other countries would work meanwhile. That 1% you talk about lead quiet sheltered life and don't flash their names.

Whole Gamestop situation is a good example of three things though: 1)despite all the claims from stock market "residents", ordinary people AREN'T welcomed on stock market; 2)despite all the claims from stock market "residents", 99% of americans aren't involved with stock market as players, only as pawns; 3)despite all the claims from stock market "residents", nobody is interested in teaching ordinary people proper handling of their portfolio and workings of stock market. In other words, the preferred situation is to have it as a closed away cycle. Which means that it remains a tool of speculation instead of being a tool of market self balancing:( Sadly same goes to politics("good people don't do politics" myth alone) and jurisprudence(you're one of the exceptions trying to popularize and open it) which won't be touched properly even on surface level by public education. Because the point is to make workers, not citizens.

What I'm saying is that 1)a soldier will not know if the order is unjust, brainwashing is a thing and higher ups know that soldiers need proper motivation, info and wording, 2)refusing an order will not be so simple as nope and going away, you will face court, prison or be shot on spot, 3)if you don't oppose others from carrying out the same order, then it is still pointless. You're just faking your own innocence and looking away. Those things that you are told have no weight in real events.

Am I worried for TikTok security? We literary have chosen a new president with 80% majority vote instead of our dictator that held power since 1994 on the 9th and she was already forced to run to Lithuania because of threats. There are tanks in the city, protests, factories and companies shut down to participate, today was the first day we have gotten internet back. TikTok is literary the least of my worries right now:D

Sorry for saying it this way, but I'm glad that people are starting to see enforcers as what they really are. Yes, as someone born in USSR I am biased against them. But I haven't yet found a proof of said bias being wrong anywhere in the world \/(-_-)\/

I'm a bloody eastern european and even I am only interested in Kamala Harris(which americans themselves made me believe is a devil in flesh and who's Biden's vp so if he dies on the job, she still takes the seat) and Nikki Haley(who's described as sanest republican) and hope neither Trump(just don't like populists), nor Biden(yes, the age is a deal breaker to me. Normal people can barely find new job past 45 and retire at 65. Why are people answering for millions of lives different?) wins. What's going on on YOUR side is hard to imagine. @resonantdave problem of French Revolution is that it was so bloody, was so villainized in propaganda and brought Napoleon in power so unexpectedly so that it basically stopped many other revolutions because people preferred to continue to suffer under authoritarian feudal slave states rather then risk it. Good example is Russian Empire in 1830-1917 ie "lost century".

What if both main party candidates die? Or better yet, what if all senators, congressmen, SC members, electors and main members of both main parties die? Will there be at least one honest fair election in US on my memory?:D Or are these people so ingrained into the system that world leading superpower will somehow stop functioning without them unlike hundreds of thousands of taxpayers that died to the virus?

@lilpenguin092 until his inauguration he's a public person. That's why he was allowed to make that comment about Mexico and Canada without official outcry of both countries. He's not in the office. And this isn't a lawsuit planned for after he's inaugurated, is it? It's already ongoing. So it's a lawsuit of private person against private person during presidency of Joe Biden. Yeah, sure, the fact that those are dinos(on supersoldier steroids) would certainly make the logic be different from usual zoo... the problem is that not in the way you guys claim. There is a difference between handling a tugboat and a post-Panamax cargo ship, but most rules would still be universal and dictated by logic. Designing your facilities in such a way that you DON'T have to force your employes to carry loaded guns 24/7 just to have a chance not to be eaten is one of them. As noted by Project Genesis playerbase, if T-Rex is too dangerous then you should design a cage that takes into account... and keep it overfed... and drugged... maybe lobotomize it... breaking it's knees might also work...

Seems like there should be a governmental insurance for these type of cases and events that wouldn't try to drop the material fault onto police officers, who also aren't millionaires and had done their job? Objection to your objection: there is no way to fix the fence or provide maintenance without turning off electricity and that means that there needs to be a 1)plastic/glass wall on visitors side; 2)said height difference, second fence or preferable an enforced wall consisting of steel beams and concrete columns. And that is before we mention the handling measures.

A right choice, but I'm not sure that Harris is the right candidate to replace him. From what I've heard around here, she's the main "bottleneck" of democrats ie she holds the party hostage preventing other candidates from coming up because she was "promised"(seriously, wtf does that even mean?) to be the next candidate? I guess these elections would beat 2016 ones for the number of votes third party candidates will bank. Though sadly you still won't choose third party president 😂

Can Burr use his informed here understanding of pandemics as a defense? He can say that he had used his own knowledge and information available from other countries anticipating that virus will spread out of China. After all, the response was rather slow worldwide, Covid-19 appeared several months ago, not weeks. And dangers of global pandemic were seriously reevaluated since Ebola. That is likely not the case, but it's not something you can prove wrong easily. I've seen people looking at airlines stocks back when Wuhan was still on the news instead of global pandemic after all.
