Yes, you are TOLD. When the time will come to act, you will be threatened with much more then discharge. It's not so hard to put treason charges into paperwork you sign if things get worse. We have already seen that before, thanfully usually not in US. Will you do the same in face of imprisonment? Or worse?

@petervansan1054 government for decades had all the tools for stopping the looters by preventing the events that lead to this situation in the first place including social division. What's wrong with them?!

@aredub1847 that's a more serious question. Sorry in advance for being a hypocrite and judging that hero above by my own human views - no, he wouldn't. That's why the myth of "innocent Wehrmacht" exists. Turning away is easier.

@daduck87 and rumours say that Hitler had not signed any of "final solution" documents personaly. Does it make him innocent? What I'm saying is that 1)a soldier will not know if the order is unjust, brainwashing is a thing and higher ups know that soldiers need proper motivation, info and wording, 2)refusing an order will not be so simple as nope and going away, you will face court, prison or be shot on spot, 3)if you don't oppose others from carrying out the same order, then it is still pointless. You're just faking your own innocence and looking away. Those things that you are told have no weight in real events.
