@bobjohnbowles "'Democracy' in Athens was a very early pre-alpha aborted experiment. Only the senior males in Athenian society took part in it." Sounds like a commie apologist "it's wasn't a true communism" statement. Stop using those silly words and accept your american overlords already, subhuman.

@Song-tn8qy as much as I dislike american hypocritic warmongering, ANY country that calls itself a superpower is already a problem. And so do those that want to be one. That includes every permanent member of UNSC and all members of "nuclear club". As well as many regional and economical powers sadly. However main problem o USA, Russia and China is that they're all effectively oligarchies with huge influence of corporations. But while those are oil corporations in Russia and industrial manufacturing syndicates in China, in USA this role was taken by military industrial complex. Not even information and technological corporations were even able to dethrone them. And this is the most resource hungry industry too. If you'd separate US military, airforce and nave from USA in terms of oil consumption, USA will still be number one consumer while those three combine would take 4th place among consumers... AMONG CONSUMERS ON A LIST MADE UP BY COUNTRIES! World Wars were a huge boost to american industry and economy and everyone knew how Great Depression was partly caused by industry grown by war failing to cut its appetites for peace times. So Cold War was inflated as much as possible on every corner which was helped a lot by informational blockade on both sides. But we've also seen that even the fall of Warsaw Pact can't change much. War is profitable. And ideal war is one against someone, who can't fight back.
